Let’s Talk About Sechelt
The best conversations don’t usually happen in our formal Council meetings. They happen over a cup of coffee (I do love coffee), along the seawall, or in one of Sechelt’s amazing parks.
During this campaign, I’ll be hosting coffee chats, attending local events, and inviting residents to join me for community and forest walks.
These opportunities are meant for you to ask questions, let me know your ideas, and just generally connect with me in ways you do through signs and ads.
There’ll be no speeches and no false promises, just an opportunity to speak frankly, one Sechelt resident to another, about what’s on your mind or where you think we’re headed.
Whether you have something specific to talk about or simply want to say hello, you’re always welcome. Bring a friend or a pet.

All Candidates Meet and Greet - Sechelt Library
This is your chance to informally meet and chat with the candidates for District of Sechelt council and mayor before the local election on Saturday, October 17.

All Candidates Forum - Sechelt Seniors Centre
The all-candidates meeting is being organized by the resource centre in partnership with the Senior Planning Table, the Canadian Federation of University Women, Cover the Coast alliance for affordable housing initiatives, and the Sechelt Seniors Activity Centre.
Brandl said the organizers are still finalizing the questions, but housing, transportation and aging in place will be central themes.

This year, the SCCA is organizing three environmental all-candidates meetings for candidates seeking election to the Town of Gibsons, District of Sechelt, and Sunshine Coast Regional District. These meetings will give community members an opportunity to learn more about candidates’ priorities and approaches to the environmental challenges facing the Sunshine Coast.

Come down to e.b.'s ice cream to grab a cone and have a chat with me about what matters to you in Sechelt! I’ll be there from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Wednesday September 2nd. I then have to head to our second to last District of Sechelt Council meeting before the election, but if there's something on the agenda you want to talk about let's do it!
